Privacy Policy
What we collect when you request a quote, how long we keep it, who sees your access codes, and our full text messaging terms.

Effective date: August 14, 2026. This policy explains what information Compass Cleaning ("Compass Cleaning," "we," "us") collects through compasscleaning.online and in the course of providing residential and commercial cleaning services in Wyoming, Minnesota and the surrounding communities, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to quote and perform cleaning work.

- Service details you provide: property size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, floor types, pets in the home, preferred frequency, access instructions, and any photos you send us of the space.
- Property access information: key, lockbox, garage or smart-lock codes and alarm procedures, when you choose to provide them so we can clean while you are away.
- Payment information: processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers or bank credentials on our systems.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not ask for Social Security numbers, government identification numbers or financial account credentials.

If you opt out of text messages, we may still contact you by phone or email about an active or scheduled service.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with parties that help us operate, and only to the extent needed:
- Our cleaning staff, limited to the details required to reach and service your property. Access codes are provided to the assigned team only and are not written on invoices or shared beyond that team.
- Service providers: scheduling and customer relationship management software, messaging and email platforms, payment processors, website hosting and analytics.
- Professional advisors: accountants, insurers and attorneys, where necessary.
- Legal authorities, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety, property or rights of any person.
If our business is transferred in whole or in part, customer information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.
5. Data retention
Quote requests that do not become customers are retained for up to 24 months. Customer service records and invoices are retained as long as required for accounting, tax and warranty purposes, typically seven years. Property access codes and keys are deleted or returned when your service ends or when you ask, whichever comes first. Photos documenting completed work are retained for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion.
6. Security
We use access-limited accounts, device passcodes and reputable third-party platforms with their own security controls. Access codes and keys are handled under written procedures and issued to named team members. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you promptly of any incident that affects your information as required by Minnesota law.
7. Your choices and rights
You may, at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
- Withdraw consent for marketing email or text messages.
