House cleaning that finishes the parts you would have finished yourself

A full clean of the rooms you live in — kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors — worked from a written list so nothing gets skipped on a busy day.

Overview

What this service actually covers

House cleaning is the service most people mean when they call us: the whole living space, done properly, on a day that works for the household. Kitchens and bathrooms take the bulk of the time because they take the bulk of the abuse. Bedrooms, living areas, hallways and stairs get dusted, wiped and vacuumed in that order, and every hard floor is finished last so nothing walks back across it.

The method is deliberately unglamorous. We work top to bottom, because dust falls, and dry before wet, because water spreads what dust does not. That is why we dust ceiling fans and door frames before we touch a single counter, and why floors are the last thing to happen in any room. Reverse the order and you end up cleaning the same surface twice — or worse, leaving a fine grey film that only shows up in afternoon light.

What separates a professional visit from a rushed one is the finish. Faucet bases and the seams where they meet the sink. Switch plates, cabinet pulls and the handle side of every door. Baseboards behind the bathroom door. The window track in the room where you sit in the morning. None of it takes long on its own; all of it is what you notice for the next two weeks.

In this part of Minnesota the calendar dictates the work. Spring brings pollen through every screen and grit up every entry. Summer means lake water, sunscreen and sand in the bathrooms. Fall drops the fireplace back into rotation and adds fine ash to mantels and hearths. Winter is the hardest on floors — road salt and sand ride in on boots and act like sandpaper against finish. We adjust products and sequence to the season instead of running the same pass in January that we ran in July.

Every home gets a written room-by-room scope before the first visit, and that scope does not shrink on a day when we are behind. If your home needs something outside it — inside the oven, interior windows throughout, a full laundry cycle — we quote it separately so you decide whether it is worth the money, rather than finding it silently traded against your bathrooms.

Benefits

What you get that you would not get by default

A written scope you can hold us to

You get the room-by-room list before we arrive. Nothing on it is treated as optional, and anything outside it is quoted rather than assumed.

The same cleaners in your home

On recurring service you keep the same assigned pair, so they learn your floors, your pets and your preferences instead of relearning them monthly.

Detail work included as standard

Switch plates, door handles, faucet bases, cabinet fronts and baseboards are part of the clean, not a line item we sell you later.

Flat price, agreed first

You approve a fixed number before we schedule. No hourly meter, no invoice that grew while you were at work.

Fragrance-free on request

Homes with asthma, allergies or infants get low-odor or entirely fragrance-free cleaning with no discussion required.

48-hour redo

If a room misses, send a photo within two days and we come back to redo that area at no charge.

Worth knowing

Why this is worth hiring out

The honest case for hiring this out is not that you cannot clean your own house. It is that a two-person team with commercial products and a fixed sequence finishes in three hours what takes one person a full weekend — and finishes it more evenly, because nobody gets tired of the third bathroom.

There is also a preservation argument that most people only hear after the damage is done. Too much water on an engineered floor swells the seams. The wrong acid on natural stone etches it permanently. A magic eraser on satin paint burnishes a shine into the wall you cannot undo. We test unfamiliar surfaces in a corner and match the product to the material, which is cheaper than refinishing.

And then there is the plain arithmetic of a weekend. Four hours of cleaning, twice a month, is roughly one hundred hours a year — most of a full work week, spent indoors, on the exact task you were hoping to avoid.

Questions

House Cleaning: common questions

Pick up clothes, toys and papers so surfaces are reachable, but do not clean. Every minute we spend relocating objects is a minute not spent on the actual cleaning, and clearing a counter is faster for you than it is for us.

Usually two. A pair splits wet rooms and dry rooms and finishes a standard home in three to four hours, which is less disruptive than one person working all day. Larger homes may get three.

Both are add-ons rather than standard, because either can take forty minutes on its own. Tell us when you book and we allow the time; otherwise your other rooms would pay for it.

We vacuum under anything we can reach without lifting — beds with clearance, sofas on legs, chairs. We do not move heavy furniture, since dragging a loaded dresser is how floors and backs get hurt.

Yes, and it happens often. Tell us which rooms to do first or last and we sequence around them. Vacuuming is the loud part, so we schedule it for when it will not wake anyone.

Then the first visit should be a deep clean so there is a real baseline to maintain. Booking a standard visit for a home with months of build-up means paying for a clean that cannot finish.

Spot-cleaning glass doors and obvious smudges is standard. A full pass on every interior window, with tracks and sills, is quoted separately because a house can hold thirty of them.

Service area

House Cleaning across sixteen towns

Residential visits run daily across these towns, with routes grouped by area so the morning slot in one town does not push the afternoon slot in the next.

Every town we cover, by direction and distance

Distances are from Wyoming, MN. If you are just outside the circle, ask anyway — when we already have a stop near you that day, we can usually fit you in.
